Town of Galway
        Comprehensive Plan

A Comprehensive plan is a vision and guide for the future of a community for the next ten or more years.  In 1970 Galway adopted a Master Plan (now called a Comprehensive Plan) to layout a strategy for the orderly development of our Town.  In 2001 a Comprehensive Plan committee was appointed by the Town Board that included Town officials and residents to review and revise that plan for the twenty-first century.

This is a fairly long document (over 60 pages), with a number of imbedded charts and graphs, so we have provided it in several different formats.  We should also warm you that all of them may be very slow to load if  you are on a dial-up type connnection.

To download a copy of this plan, in Microsoft Word format, click here.  You will need to have MS Word on your desktop in order to read it.

Click here to see a copy of the plan converted in to html format, which you can view with your normal web browser.  The formatting is a little odd (with some of the graphics), but all the information is there.
